Cedar Ridge Equine, CRE, is a full-service horse facility. We offer lessons and camps in the english and western disciplines. Ranging from english flat work to western speed events, such as barrels, poles and roping. Lessons are offered to all age groups and abilities. Whether or not you are a beginner or a seasoned rider we have something to for you. No horse? No problem! We have a herd of amazing lesson horses at our facility for every level of rider. Have your own horse and just looking for a few tips and pointers? Bring them on over to CRE. We offer both private and group lessons tailored to your personal abilities. Owner/trainer, Amy Prechter, also specializes in training, breeding, and sales. With over 15 years of experience, we can guarantee that you'll be happy with the services we provide here at Cedar Ridge Equine. Stable Hand Sundays are back!

This program will be more in depth manner on the care of horses. There will be no riding of horses and very limited hands-on. Stable hands will learn how to feed depending on the horses' individual nutritional requirements, organize and clean tack & equipment, maintain and repair fencing and arenas, remove manure, and safe handling and proper use of ranch tools. Care of horses in the winter months: grooming, blanketing, etc. There will be a strong emphasis of life skill development including responsibility, team work, communication, etc. Rubber boots and work gloves are recommended for participants. Participants will need to pack a lunch, snack and dress appropriately lots of layers/hat/scarf for cold days.
