Horse Sense Clinic

Open to all ages and levels, who are serious horse enthusiasts. This class is all on the ground, no riding.

This clinic developed to teach all aspects of horse husbandry. Class will cover feeding/nutrition, first aid/TPR's of horses, traveling/trailering with your horse, horse management practices, horse conformation/anatomy/breed types, proper tack and fitting of your horse, and basic ground work maneuvers from leading/knot tying to lunging and bitting up your horse in the round pen. Each student will receive a journal and CRE hat.

Cost:
$350 all three days or $125 per day
$25 per tuition cost for multiple family members in attendance

Dates: June 29th, 30th and July 1st
Mon. June 29th: Horse Management Practices, Feeding/Nutrition, First Aid/TPRs of Horse, Trailering/travel with your horse.
Tues. June 30th: Trailering continued (as needed), Horse Confirmation/anatomy/breeds/discipline, tack fitting, leg protection
Wed. July 1st: Groundwork: horse stretches, leading/tying, lunging, bitting up.
