CRE Annual Halloween Fun Day

Every year we have a fun Halloween play day at CRE for our dedicated riders, boarders, and leasers. Participants must be actively taking lessons in our program. A limited number of advanced riders (non-leasers) will have opportunity to participate with instructor approval and will have to pay a lesson horse use fee in addition to entry fees. The event is weather/temperatures permitting!
Schedule:
10am Set up Tack Swap (bring any tack/clothing/horse related items labeled with your name & asking price)
11am
Halloween Costume Contest
Prizes awarded to all categories and age groups!
12pm Potluck Lunch
(CRE will provide Chilli)

Riders without Horses Costume Contest (no horse ownership/lease required) All CRE students welcome to participate!

Timed Speed Events:
Open Barrels & Poles (all ages) $35 entry fee
Junior Barrels & Poles (17 & under)$25 entry fee
Pee Wee Barrels & Poles (ages 8 & under) $5 entry fee
Judged Events: ($20 entry fee per class)
-Trail Course Competition (timed and judged)
Open (all ages)
Youth (ages 17 and under)
-Musical Horse Competition (all ages)-$5 entry fee
Fun competitive game on horses, basically like musical chairs.
-$1 Bareback Ride (all ages) $1 entry fee
Riders will ride bareback, a $1 will be placed under their leg, they are not allowed to touch/readjust it once the competition starts, riders will be asked to walk, trot, lope/canter each way, perform various maneuvers, last rider with a $1 under leg takes home all the money!
Mandatory Arena Fee (1 per contestant) $10
