Open to all ages and levels, who are serious horse enthusiasts. This class is all on the ground, no riding.
This clinic developed to teach all aspects of horse husbandry. Classes will cover feeding/nutrition, first aid/TPR's of horses, traveling/trailering with your horse, horse management practices, horse conformation/anatomy/breed types, proper tack and fitting of your horse (you are welcome to bring any of your own tack if you have specific questions you’d like to addresss), and basic ground work maneuvers from leading/knot tying to lunging and bitting up your horse in the round pen. Each student will receive a journal and will receive a CRE Hat if they participate in 3 or more classes. Bring an appetizer/beverage to share with the class.
